As reported earlier by Kollytalk to its readers, Bharathiya Janatha Party’s RK Nagar bypoll contestant is Gangai Amaren, younger brother of music composer Ilaiyaraaja, he also directed many hit films including Karakatakaran.
Yesterday, Gangai Amaren has visited Superstar Rajinikanth at Poes Gardens and asked for his support in the by-election. Though the actor didn’t promise anything, he wished a great victory for Gangai Amaren.
Gangai Amaren’s elder son Venkat Prabhu of Mankatha fame tweeted “Today our thalaivar @superstarrajini met and wished my dad for his political victory in #RKNagarByElection #happyson #GangaiAmaran “.
Gangai Amaren is also planning to meet other leading Kollywood actors to get their support for the byelection.
