Talking about the postponement of 2.0, he said, “It’s because of the massive CG work involved in the project. Rahman can start working on the re-recording only after the full visuals of the film are submitted. That’s why the delay.”


Rajinikanth said 2.0 will be forever remembered as a classic like how the current generation respects Chandralekha. He also said that Ranjith has showcased a different dimension of him in Kaala.
