Recently when addressing his fans, Superstar Rajinikanth indirectly mentioned that Thalapathy Vijay is his successor. Superstar said that once he went with Sivaji Ganesan to an airport he was humiliated when fans cheering for him in front of the legend. Years later, Superstar visited Coimbatore and a lot of fans gathered there for an actor and it’s none other than Thalapathy Vijay.
Although Rajinikanth didn’t directly mention Vijay’s name, fans posted a video of how Thalapathy Vijay was welcomed by his fans at Coimbatore airport and linked it with the speech of Superstar Rajinikanth to prove that the Thuppakki actor is his successor.
